Tooth extraction is a procedure that is performed under local anesthesia and is absolutely painless. After the procedure, the patient is provided with oral and written instructions on how to make the recovery easier and prevent complications.

Some indications for treatment:

  • Large cavities that have destroyed most of the tooth
  • Advanced periodontal disease
  • One or more odontogenic cysts
  • Large dental inflammation which encircles most of the bone around the root
  • Orthodontic reasons
  • Malposition of the tooth
  • Fractured root or tooth
  • Impacted teeth, usually third molars
