Inlays are ceramic fillings used to fill holes in your teeth after the removal of cavities, and onlays are fillings that replace the largest part of the tooth crown.

These fillings are made in a laboratory by our dental technicians. The procedure is completed in two visits. During the first visit, the tooth is prepared for the inlay and an impression is taken. The patient receives a temporary inlay, while the permanent, ceramic one, is made in the lab. During the second visit, the inlay/onlay is cemented onto the tooth with special cementing agents.
